We just returned from an amazing trip to Ontario and one of our favourite parts of the trip was our visit to Niagara Falls. I hadn’t been to Niagara Falls since I was a child, and it was my children’s first time. We were so amazed! The beauty of the Falls is unbelievable! We started out at the Table Rock Welcome Centre, where we could park for the day.
It was the perfect spot to see the falls for the first time. At the railing you could look down into the crashing falls and feel like you were right on top of them.
We activated our Niagara Falls Adventure Pass and got our WEGO Bus Passes. With a Wego bus pass you can ride all around the Niagara Falls visitor areas, all day, for one low price and leave your car in one spot. This makes getting to all the attractions super easy. The Adventure Pass includes the four main attractions you will want to see in Niagara Falls: the Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara’s Fury and the White Water Walk. It also includes a two-day WEGO Bus Pass!
We absolutely loved the Maid of the Mist boat tour. Our children wanted to go to the top of the boat so we got drenched! Thank goodness it was a hot day. I definitely recommend bringing a change of clothes to Niagara Falls, just in case you want to get wet. They do offer ponchos on the boat tour, but we wanted to get wet, so some of us didn’t wear them!
Did you know that Niagara Falls is illuminated at night and there are fireworks every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the summer? What a way to end an amazing day!
We had so much fun at Niagara Falls we can’t wait to return again! What were your favourite things to do in Niagara Falls?
I received compensation for this post, however, the opinions in this article are my own.
