I haven’t driven a two door car in more than ten years and I’ve never driven a car with an engine as powerful as the V6 in the Ford Mustang. So when I pulled out of the dealership driveway I was a little nervous about how hard I should press the gas pedal down. I was cautious at first but then I wanted to see what this sexy car could do! I hopped onto the highway and let the car do what it was made to do. The engine roared to life and I sat back in my seat to enjoy the ride.
It was amazing. It wasn’t long before I realized I was already at the speed limit and I wasn’t even trying to push the pedal down at all. And this 6 litre engine was better on gas mileage than my van!
Our whole family had a really fun week with the Mustang. We took it up Citadel Hill and all around town to have ice cream. I had a lot of fun driving it on the highway to and from work and showing it off. My daughters loved it when I drove them, and their friends, to their events in this sports car! We all felt pretty cool driving it. Everywhere we went we turned heads.
My daughter’s didn’t even complain about the lack of space in the back seat. The seats were actually really comfortable. My only complaint is that the doors are heavy so it was a little hard to open them on my steep driveway.
The Mustang is definitely not a family car – it’s really comfortable but doesn’t really have the room for all that stuff that families need to carry around with them everywhere. The Mustang would be an amazing date night car or the car you buy once the kids have left the nest! Our week with the Mustang reminded me of what life was like without kids and for a short time, it was wonderful!

How fun to drive around the city, though!! You need to hit the open roads of the Valley, though!

It may not be a “young” family car, but for us empty nesters, not much room in the back seat is not a real problem.

Haha, totally agree! I loved driving it and it’s perfect for empty nesters!
