I love Bucket Lists. Here’s one we have made for our family for 2014. Yes, we’re already a few months into 2014 but it’s been a pretty slow, cold winter. Hopefully making this list will inspire us to get moving now that spring has (barely) started showing itself!
1) Go camping as often as we can. 2) Get hiking boots for our children and hike 5 Nova Scotia Trails. 3) Go away on a vacation with only my husband. We haven’t done this is years! 4) Make a 30 minute family beach movie. 5) Take one big road trip somewhere in Eastern Canada/USA. We’re hoping this is to Old Orchard Beach, ME. I haven’t been there since I was a little girl. 6) Fix up our backyard and plant a garden. We resealed our foundation last year so this is going to be a BIG job! 7) Go to a Drive In Movie Theatre. As far as I know there’s only 1 left in the Maritimes. Am I wrong? Who knows how long it will be here for. 8) Turn our lights (and electronics) off for Earth Hour once a month all year not just on Earth Hour Day. 9) Start exercising as a family. Walk more, bike more and have dance parties in our living room. 10) Take more pictures as a family or with me in them. I’m always the one taking the photos but never in them! What would be on your family’s bucket list?

Re: drive-ins, there are at least 2 in the Maritimes: one in Sussex, NB, and one in Brackley, PEI. We hope to take our girls to the one in Brackley this summer (hubby and I have been a few times). 🙂

Thanks! I’m actually from Saint John so its a shock I’ve never been to the Sussex one. Hopefully we can fit it in this summer!

I like this. A lot.
You’ve got me thinking what would, should, will be on our family list. We’re heading to Newfoundland in August and camping for one week in September.
I’ve made a commitment to do an activity with The Kids once a week. Something off of our property. It’s been pretty successful.
Thanks for making me think.

Thank-you Sarah! Newfoundland sounds amazing. We haven’t been yet! I’ll have to add it to our bucket list.
Have a wonderful summer!

This is awesome – ambitious (for an already busy family like yours :)), but very doable! Good luck!

I don’t know what you’re talking about Sue, we’re not busy at all! LOL
Thanks for the comment!
