Wow, another amazing We Day took place in Atlantic Canada today, at the Scotiabank Center in Halifax. I am grateful to Telus for inviting me to take in all of the motivational speeches and inspirational music! More than 8,000 students and educators earned their way to We Day by making a difference in their local and global communities. You can’t buy a ticket to this show! You have to earn it through community service.
The long list of amazing speakers and performers included Classified, Debby Ryan, Chris Hatfield, JRDN, Aislinn Paul, Spencer West, of course Craig Kielburger and more!
We had the pleasure of meeting performer Francesco Yates, a Canadian songwriter who remixed his song “Call” to challenge youth around the world to start making a difference in their community. You can help too, because every time this video is watched and shared on social media, Telus will donate $10 to Free the Children! I challenge you to take the #CallForChange today!
