We have a new store in Halifax with great deals on designer clothing; Marshalls Canada! The first Marshalls Store opened 40 years ago in Massachusetts and expanded into Canada in 2011. When I saw that a Marshalls was opening up in Dartmouth Crossing, I couldn’t wait to check out the new store to see what they would have.
I didn’t really know what to expect, as I had never been to a Marshalls store before. They carry thousands of styles & brand names from around the world, and new clothing deals every week, so I was pretty sure we would see something we liked. There is a department for everyone in the family and they also have home decor!
My two daughters and I went to Marshalls together for a girl’s shopping trip. They are pretty picky when it comes to clothing, so, I was really happy when my oldest daughter found a dress she loved, right away! We’re always on the lookout for new options for clothing. She really liked a lot of the clothes in the store in Dartmouth Crossing.
I found quite a few styles I liked as well. The shoe and dress selection was fantastic! I will be going back to Marshalls for summer sandals soon!
I ended up taking home some floral tank tops and DKNY jeans. I love them! Marshalls reminded me a lot of the store Winners, except Marshalls has many new types of clothing that were completely different from Winners. I also noticed they had Chi straight irons at a great deal. You never know what you’re going to find!
You can follow Marshalls Canada on Facebook or Twitter to stay up to date on what’s happening in their stores!
I haven’t been in yet… kinda waiting for the Bayers Lake store to open
I checked out the new Marshalls at the new outlet mall in Niagara on the Lake last weekend. It is very similar to Winners. I found it to be nicer though. I am looking forward to going back and spending more than 20 minutes there. The hubby and kids were tired of shopping, lol.
Thanks for the comment Kirsten! I would also love to go back without the children for a more relaxing mommy shopping trip. Next time!
