We had such a blast this visit to Fredericton, New Brunswick! We’ve been wanting to have a family adventure at TreeGo for more than a year and we finally got to do it! The Fredericton location of TreeGo is located in Mactaquac Park. It’s a beautiful park with a marina right next to TreeGo and a campground if you want to stay overnight!
We arrived early and were lucky enough to be the first ones on the course. Our guide was awesome. He talked us through the safety demonstration and made sure each of us knew what we were doing before we went up in the trees.
Of course everything looks amazing from the ground but once you start climbing up in the trees it gets scary pretty fast! You really just have to trust the equipment, have fun and try and forget that you’re up that high!
We started out on a fairly easy course and it got harder as we went along. Some of the obstacles were:
Wires
Wooden Bridges
Wooden Logs
Rope Swings & Nets
Tunnels
My knees were weak more than once when we got to the harder obstacles but it was so empowering when I succeeded in crossing them!
My favourite part was the zip-lines!
I’ve become a bit of a zip-line addict I’m afraid!
We can’t wait to go back again!!
