Every single time I start planning our next trip to Walt Disney World, Disneyland California, and now Disneyland Paris, I learn something new that helps us save more money or make the trip more unique!
This year my biggest tip is to join some of the amazing Facebook Groups that are out there just full of people like me who have visited the different Disney parks MANY TIMES!! I’ve been following these groups daily (because I enjoy it) and I’ve learned so much just in the last few weeks from others who are actively planning their trips right now.
Group #1: Disney Campers Family
I have to admit, this one is REALLY specific. It’s for people who love to camp or stay in cabins at Walt Disney World at Fort Wilderness Resort. If you love the Fort you’ll love this group. If you’ve been thinking of camping at the Fort you’ll love this group. If you’re a Disney fan and love camping you’ll probably also love this group even if you don’t have plans to camp at Walt Disney World because they often post fun camping tips and Disney camping supplies.
Phew! That was a mouthful!! Disclosure: This group is actually run by a travel agency and they won’t allow you to talk about other travel agencies or places to buy tickets in the group, however, it’s such a huge group it is EXTREMELY helpful for planning, finding special experiences around Walt Disney World and for learning about sales. I’ve been to Walt Disney World more than 20 times and I’m learning new things on a regular basis from this group!
Group #3: Disneyland Paris Tips for Brits
Ok, so I’m not from Great Britain and can’t technically be called a Brit but this group is for Disneyland Paris and it’s in English so it’s a fantastic group for anyone planning a trip to Disneyland Paris. We’re also going to Great Britain before France so it was full of useful tips for us on how to easily get from London to Paris and Disneyland. They share sales, how to get deals, where to find extra magic at Disneyland Paris and so much more!
Group #4: DVC Vacation Club Points Rental
Renting Disney Vacation Club Points and staying in a time share is something completely new to me. I’m learning more about it in the hopes that I can save a little on a vacation some day by renting out a time share at the last minute on a deal. I’ll update all of you on this later as I learn more but if you’ve done this comment below and let me know what you thought of the process! I’d love to be able to stay at the incredible villas at the Polynesian Resort! Look at that private hot tub!
