Sleek, lightweight and easy to carry in your purse.
In fact I did, all the way to New Brunswick so I could test it out by taking a picture of my new baby, my airstream trailer, and then print it off right away. The Instax SP-2 Smartphone Printer is such a cool invention for people who want photos right away for an event or to use in a scrapbook/display. Imagine that you’re camping and you take a bunch of really amazing sunset beach pictures on your phone. You want to enjoy them right away right? All you have to do is pull the printer out of your purse, connect it to your phone using the Instax SHARE app and you can print those photos and hang them above your bed or on your fridge in your camper.
Instant vacation memories!
Or maybe you’re at a wedding and your gift to the bride and groom is a bunch of fun pictures taken at the party and printed for them to display on tables around the room. Too cute!
I’m not a big fan of clunky, heavy camera gear. My husband drags it everywhere and it annoys me so much. Don’t get me wrong – it has it’s time and place for sure but I’m loving how lightweight this printer is. It makes life easy for this travel blogger to be able to simply pull this out of my purse and play around with it.
It’s REALLY EASY to use too!
You just download the Instax SHARE app, open it up, turn the printer on by pressing the button on the side and then click connect on the app. It automatically finds your printer as long as it’s powered on. Then you just click on gallery or take a picture right in the app and click print!! It pops out and develops really quickly. NO SHAKING involved!! In fact they suggest you just lay the picture down flat to develop.
There is also a Real-Time Templates in the Intax SHARE app that you can use to put a time and date on your photo.
AND wait for it…you can also print straight from Facebook or Instagram!
Plus you can do these other really fun and creative things:
Have you tried this printer yet? What did you print?
Disclosure: I received an Instax SP-2 Printer in exchange for writing this blog post, however all opinions in this post are my own.
