Walt Disney World is the most magical place on earth and Christmas is the most magical season. Putting them together just makes sense so I put together a Disney Lover’s Christmas Wish list for all of you who have HUGE DISNEY FANS in your house. You know what I mean. Those family members who can’t get enough of the mouse, drink their coffee from Disney mugs, decorate their home in Disneyana and have been to a Disney park more than 5 times. We’ve all got one – heck I am one! So just what should you get the crazy Disney fan for Christmas this year? These ideas would make even the mouse himself laugh with joy!
A Disney Lover’s Christmas Wish List
1) Dooney and Bourke Accessories
Every year Dooney and Bourke designs hot new purses and luggage in a different Disney pattern. Let me pre warn you…they aren’t cheap, but completely gorgeous if you’re looking for a special item for your Disney fan. What’s hot this year? Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast and Dumbo patterns were all just released in August. But unless your Disney fan already has one of these bags I’m betting they’ll be ecstatic if you get them a bag in any of the patterns Dooney and Bourke offers.
2) Disney Gift Cards
You can’t go wrong with a gift of the magic itself. Buying a whole trip or visit to Disneyland might be a little much for your budget but Disney Gift Cards don’t expire and let me tell you, if they’re a hard core Disney fan, they’re ALWAYS saving for that next trip!
3) Pandora Disney Charms
Many women already have Pandora bracelets. A Disney charm would be a special addition to their bracelet or a new bracelet for someone who doesn’t have one yet would be a very special gift indeed!
4) A Walt Disney Biography
There are a lot of books out there about Walter E. Disney and the theme parks, but I just read the biography Walt Disney: An American Original by Bob Thomas and highly recommend it. I didn’t find it too long and boring (which a few reviews suggested) and loved that it covered his whole life. I also recommend the book The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World by Susan Verness. It was full of REALLY interesting tips and behind the scenes info any Walt Disney World fan would relish, especially if they’re planning another trip.
5) Personalized Disney Gifts
For those people who are actively planning a trip to a Disney park why not get them cute personalized Disney t-shirts, tank tops or Mickey ears for the whole family? We did this for our Royal Caribbean Cruise and loved the concept. It made it really easy to find each other in a crowd of people!
6) Disney HOME T-shirts
There are so many unique handmade non-official Disney items on Etsy that I could browse for hours. I am LOVING these Disney castle HOME t-shirts and sweatshirts!
7) A Membership to D23
D23 is the Official Disney Fan Club. The basic membership is free to join but you get a lot more benefits and an official certificate with a Gold Membership. You can gift a Gold Membership easily through the Disney Store.
8) Mickey Waffle Iron
Who could resist waffles in the shape of Mickey’s head? This waffle iron will make you feel like you’re back in the park at a character breakfast!
9) Disney Themed Vans Sneakers
Vans has always been one of the coolest brands to buy and now their Disney line makes them even cooler. I think my husband would even wear these!!
10) A Share of the Walt Disney Company
Yes, that’s right. The Walt Disney Company is a publicly traded company and you could buy a share of stock for someone. This is THE ULTIMATE Disney Lovers Best Gift Ever. Trust me.
Happy Shopping!
