“There’s still time to change the world.”
This is the thought process behind the We Movement and We Day is a huge part of making it happen by inspiring young people all over North America. We Day is a celebration event for youth who are working to make a difference in their local and global communities. We Schools is the year long program that nurtures compassion in young people and gives them the tools to create transformational social change.
I love attending We Day every year and watching the faces of the youth light up with joy and excitement when they are inspired to believe in themselves and the power they have to make a difference.
This year I attended on behalf of the Royal Bank of Canada. They are making a difference in their own way through the #Make150Count campaign.
To make Canada’s 150th anniversary count, RBC is giving away $150 to youth all across Canada and asking them to make a difference with it in their community. Watch my We day video to hear what a youth from Saint John, NB did with her $150!
You can participate by sending your idea to RBC!
We Day is exciting, inspiring and is making a huge difference in the world by inspiring our youth to raise money for children overseas, help mothers start new businesses and children get educations, help people in their own communities, and volunteer their time. I highly encourage you to support the We cause. There are so many ways you can help make the world a better place by living We at HOME, WORK, SCHOOL and at WE DAY!
