Welcome to My Life in the Sun! My name is Laura and I’m from Halifax, NS. My husband, Trevor, and I have two daughters, and our family really loves to travel! I created My Life in the Sun to help other families plan travel and to share our travel stories and it has blossomed into a website that also includes reviews, advertisements, advice on having a family, life, saving money and even some arts and crafts and baking. Why should you follow my website? Because I have lots of information to share with moms, dads, grandparents and yes, even children.
More about me: I started traveling at a very young age and the enthusiasm my father showed every time we left home led me to be not only addicted to traveling but also simply in love with the feeling i get from seeing new places, meeting new people and learning new things. Now that I have two young daughters I find myself wanting to do the same for them. I want to open their eyes to new experiences both close to home and far away. I love chocolate caramels with sea salt, the beach, summer, shopping and reading.
